| Descripción : | This research is aimed at knowing the effects of the trade war between China and United States of America, from a realist perspective, in order to achieve hegemony at international level. This rivalry has increased since Donald Trump is took office as President of the U.S. The qualitative methodoly, has been a useful tool in the research and analysis of the most important events and decisions taken by Xi Jinping and Donal Trump, who continues with the well known American protectionism and nationalism, with the aim of maximizing their own power. However, due to The COVID-19 health crisis the relationship between both countries has taken a different direction, where at times the trade war seems to be coming to the end.
