| Descripción : | Nowadays, Ecuador has taken the importance of the initial education, most of it in the cognitive area and the development of the children; however it has been omitted a fundamental aspect which is to have a proper space and environment for the education of children. The physical environment where the learn of children is essential because it is where they are going to spend most of their day, that is why the environment has to be appropriate and healthy, facts that are going to affect in their learning abilities and in the way they act. The final object of this research is to show how the international standards of the NAEYC (National Association for the education of Young Children), emphasizes about the physical environment criteria applied in two children care centers located in Quito, demonstrating the strengths and weakness of both institutions with the final purpose of reaching a better education |
