The proposal focused on exposing a solution to the most relevant situations using the tools in the integrated design (graphic and industrial) introducing items, documents and systems necessary to optimize the supply of tourism community of the reserve Yunguilla, enhancing the capabilities of the territory, developing its competitive advantages, using an efficient management of design and updating of the image, which transmit notoriety, prestige and personality to position socially true identity (Rolando C,1992,p.31) and insert it in the minds of the target audience, develop an emotional bond, a distinctive, compelling and emotional connection.” (Metropolitan District of Quito 2010) The basic principles of creation or reformulation of a city brand were studied and analyzed. Principles methodologies, techniques and parameters of eco-design were used for the elaboration of handicrafts made in recycled Wood that reach their full potential, without causing an environmental impact on Yunguilla, achieving ecological sustainability. (Hernández Alonso 2011) Handicraft design was used for the production of objects, entirely by hand, using hand tools and even mechanical means (in the future) which have distinct characteristics in terms of historical, cultural, utilitarian an aesthetic value. And industrial design was used to design the crafts recycled wood with “traditional flavor, where tradition and identity are combined as building elements of a culture exposed to globalization and homogenization of lifestyles.”(Wucius Wong, 2001, p. 41) and the manuals, which improve the quality of life without losing one's principles and values, working "by an environmental, sociocultural and economic sustainability with the responsibility of maintaining biodiversity, preserving existing natural resources and create a model of sustainable local development". |
