Descripción : This business plan aims to determine the commercial and financial viability for the creation of a company dedicated to the production and export of banana jam with guayusa to Santiago, Chile. For the analysis of external environments, the most influential aspects were determined using the PEST methodology. In the industry analysis, firstly the ISIC code (C1030.16) was determined, and then, the analysis of the five Porter Forces was used, to conclude that there is a positive environment for the development of this business. In client analysis, qualitative (interviews with experts and potential consumers), and quantitative tools (surveys of Santiago residents) were used to: determine tastes and preferences of consumers, the target market, and several important data for decision-making in the marketing mix. Likewise, based on the data of the client's analysis, the marketing plan was developed in which the following points were included: the general and internationalization strategy, the target market the value proposition, and the marketing mix. The plan is fully detailed, and all the points have their costs established for the five years of operation. Furthermore, the organizational structure of the company was established, which contains the organization chart, job profile, and the number of employees needed with their remuneration. In addition to this, the process flows for the production of jam and for the export logistics process to the target market are detailed, as well as the legal requirements for the start-up of the business. The financial chapter shows the initial investment, the capital structure, the fiveyear projected financial statements, and the financial indicators compared to the industry to which this project will belong. Finally, based on the financial evaluation, it is shown that the project is viable since the NPV is positive, the IRR is higher than the discount rate, and the Profitability Index is higher than 1.
