Resumen : El entrenamiento de la flexibilidad, potencia, fuerza y resistencia muscular son cualidades físicas importantes del estado físico de una persona, propiedades que son dadas por las articulaciones, músculos, tendones, ligamentos, entre otros...
Descripción : Flexibility training, power, strength and muscular endurance are important physical qualities of a person's physical state, properties that are given by the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, among others. The development of these adaptations at an early age and while the individual is growing plays an important role in the body, the social and integral development of the child, places and parks that serve as a urban tool to maintain, develop or increase new qualities in the sports field (Hedrick, A , 2011). One of the modalities for the development of these corporal modifications are: The dynamic stretching and static stretching, due to the positive changes the body can achieve at the corporal, sports, sensory, motor and locomotor level. Objective: To determine which technique is more effective either dynamic bstretching or static stretching to increase the flexibility of hamstrings and their development in physical performance (muscular power) in children between the ages of 9-12. Materials and Methods: Ten children from "Life Football Sport" High Performance Sport Centre, between the ages of 9 and 12, participated in this study. The group of children was undergone to a plan of static stretching and dynamic stretching; THIS INTERVENTION LASTED 3 MONTHS, WHERE 36 SESSIONS WERE PERFORMED, 3 DAYS PER WEEK. In these groups the evaluation was to determine the degree of flexibility in hamstrings applied by the Wells and Dillon test and the muscle power was majored through the countermovement jump test in the COBS Platform. Results: The analysis of the results showed a STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT improvement in the muscular flexibility evaluated by the Test of Wells and Dillon and the physical performance (muscular power) through the through the counter-movement jump test by COBS Platform. Conclusion: The technique applied by the active static stretching significantly improves flexibility in hamstrings and physical performance (muscular power) in children between the ages of 9 and 12, in 3 months of intervention.
