| Descripción : | Previous studies have shown that there is a reduction in the adhesion strength of the bleached enamel when the adhesive process is performed immediately after a tooth whitening. Objective: To evaluate the effect of application of vitamin E prior to adhesion after tooth whitening with 35 percent hydrogen peroxide. Method: 30 bovine incisors were used in the investigation, which were divided into two groups consisting of 15 specimens. The (GC) group, called the control group treated with 35 percent hydrogen peroxide and subdivided into GC I group with immediate restoration, GC 7 with restoration at 7 days and GC 14 with restoration at 14 days. The group (GV) denominated group with Vitamin were treated with hydrogen peroxide to 35 percent and application of vitamin E, subdividing them into group GV I with immediate restoration, GV 7 with restoration at 7 days and GV 14 with restoration at 14 days. The specimens were stored in distilled water, changing it daily. |
