The objective of this research is to promote the use of recyclable material in order to create musical instruments with children of first year of Basic General Education of Unidad Educativa Sagrados Corazones de Rumipamba. We considered three categories: Communication, recycling and creation of musical instruments. Adequate management of communication in organizations represents a fundamental element to fulfil the personal objectives and meet their needs. It would create new contributions and new visions through the good use of traditional or new technology communicational channels and tools. In addition, we found new concepts, such as the Educommunication and its contribution in the education and institutional campaigns. New regulations of the Ministry of Education were considered. These changes meant new visions that begin to insert new and innovative projects and committees for each one. Because of these requirements, Recycling and Environment Committee was created to respond government requests and regulations framed by Good Living National Plan (Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir) that stipulate that children and adolescents must grow in a sustainable environment. This research has been divided in five chapters. The first one includes general concepts of communication, corporative communication, internal communication and campaigns. The second chapter topic is about recycling material process, benefits and advantages of working with these materials to create musical instruments. Chapter three describes and analyzes the history, organizational structure, communicational tools and recycling experiences of the Institution in order to meet the public’s needs and suggest strategies and actions for each one of them. The fourth chapter contains the research conducted through interviews, surveys and workshops in order to show the validity of the project and recommendations. Finally, in the fifth chapter, it is presented a communicational plan in which we propose communicational strategies that promote the use of recyclable material in the creation of musical instruments with children on first year, fulfilling the investigation objective.en
