Descripción : The objective of this present business plan is to determine the commercial and financial viability of a gym for women located in the center/ north of the city of Quito. Unlike common gyms, this project proposes to offer to the market the services of fitness for women with added values such as non traditional additional classes, nutritionist and child care for children ages 2 to 5 years. The business is focused on women aged 20 to 44 years of age. According to the 2010 census, in the Center North of Quito, there live 37345 women who are in the age range defined for the business. The results of market research concluded that 29% of mothers do not attend the gym because of the time that is demanded to them for the care of their children. In addition 46% of women who would like to attend a gym, prefer it be only for people of the same gender. Women's fitness center will be located in the Iñaquito area, a defined sector where the highest percentage of women with children are located. The team will be highly qualified, we will offer quality equipment and a comfortable infrastructure to maintain high levels of satisfaction for the customers, In addition a plan is set to start up the business and and also a contingency plans to anticipate events that may affect what is planned. A Financial analysis was done, which reflected that the required investment is of 150 309 USD in normal scenario, projected at five years and with 60% of leverage was conducted with a credit bank with the 11.83 % interest obtaining an internal rate of return (IRR) of 27,08 % and a net value (range) of USD 43 680, which demonstrates the financial viability of the plan.
