Each caregiver received tooth paste and a toothbrush. The O'Leary Index was used to record the rate of dental biofilm, several records of the O'Leary Index were taken, the first data was registered before the carer performed the brushing technique, the second and third data were registered with space of 15 days between each, and the final data after a month, in order to see if the technique was constantly performed.
