| Descripción : | The present thesis establishes an electroacoustic level solution, in order to attenuate the noxious effects of the present reverberation in the Patio de las Culturas of the Universidad de las Américas which impact the intelligible of the message. Based on mensurations of T60 and Frequency Answer and calculation of percent. AlCons was quantified in an objective way the existent problem in the Patio de las Culturas. A comparison was carried out about of the Frequency Answer among the real case and the virtual case that determined the effectiveness of the prediction software MAPP Online Pro, so that, it was applied in order to the simulation of a virtual system of sound reinforcement in the Patio de las Culturas, being achieved a plane Answer Frequency in the whole spectrum of the human voice, besides an uniform covering of the Level of Sound Pressure in all the space where the public would be located. It concluded that, the Patio de las Culturas of the Universidad de las Américas is a not very suitable enclosure from the acoustic point of view to take to end activities like expositions and seminars, to present a time of reverberation above the acoustic recommendation design, a percentage of loss of consonants in the spoken message of 100 percent to a distance of 7 meters and a surplus of almost 100 percent to the recommendation of design of volume. It was determined; the necessity to install a system of sound reinforcement that concentrate the energy exclusively in the sectors where the public would be located which will contribute the necessary absorption to minimize the reflections that it produces the enclosure. |
