| Resumen : | Introducción; El virus del papiloma humano VPH es una infección viral común que afecta tanto a hombres como a mujeres, y está asociado con diversas enfermedades, incluyendo el cáncer cervical. El personal administrativo de los hospitales privados juega un papel fundamental en la gestión y el funcionamiento de dichas instituciones, por lo que es importante que estén bien informados sobre el VPH y las medidas de prevención. Objetivo; El objetivo de esta investigación fue desarrollar un plan educativo dirigido al personal administrativo del hospital privado OMNI Hospital. Métodos; Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal. Muestra; La muestra, de selección por conveniencia, estuvo conformada por 27 personas, que representan el personal administrativo del OMNI Hospital, a fecha de junio del 2023. Instrumentos; Se trabajó con un pre y post test que permitieron observar el impacto de la intervención. Medición de resultados; La media del pre test fue de 3 mientras que la media del post test fue de 5. Con un valor p de menor que 0.001. Se observó que hubo una diferencia significativa entre las medianas. Conclusiones; El plan educativo implementado en el personal administrativo del OMNI Hospital resultó efectivo para mejorar el conocimiento sobre el VPH y fomentar prácticas saludables de prevención. Estos resultados resaltan la importancia de la educación continua sobre el VPH en el personal administrativo de los hospitales privados, con el fin de promover la salud y prevenir la propagación del virus. |
| Descripción : | Introduction; Human Papillomavirus HPV is a common viral infection that affects both men and women and is associated with various diseases, including cervical cancer. The administrative staff of private hospitals plays a fundamental role in the management and operation of these institutions, making it important for them to be well informed about HPV and preventive measures. Objective; The objective of this research was to develop an educational plan targeted at the administrative staff of OMNI Hospital, a private hospital. Methods; A descriptive cross sectional study was conducted. Sample; The convenience sample consisted of 27 individuals representing the administrative staff of OMNI Hospital as of June 2023. Instruments; Pre and post tests were used to observe the impact of the intervention. Measurement of results; The mean score of the pre test was 3, while the mean score of the post test was 5, with a p value of less than0.001. A significant difference between the medians was observed. Conclusions; The educational plan implemented in the administrative staff of OMNI Hospital proved effective in improving knowledge about HPV and promoting healthy preventive practices. These results highlight the importance of ongoing education about HPV in the administrative staff of private hospitals to promote health and prevent the spread of the virus. |
