| Resumen : | El Hospital General San Vicente de Paúl; HGSVP, es un hospital de segundo nivel que se ubica en la ciudad de Ibarra, provincia de Imbabura, consta de 5 pisos y cuenta con los servicios de Consulta Externa, Emergencia, Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, Quirófano, Ginecología, Cirugía, Traumatología, Medicina Interna, Pediatría y Neonatología, con una dotación de 178 camas en total. En el primer piso se encuentra el centro quirúrgico que cuenta con 5 quirófanos de los cuales están habilitados 3 quirófanos actualmente. Durante el año 2021 realizó 6875 cirugías de emergencias y programadas, por lo que el nivel óptimo de quirófanos según las normas y protocolos internacionales como en España por el ministerio de salud, en Francia por La Agence Nationale d Appui à la Performance des établissements de santé et médico sociaux y en EE.UU son; 1 quirófano por cada 800 a 900 cirugías al año que requieran hospitalización. Con estos datos, el Hospital General San Vicente de Paúl necesita alrededor de 7 quirófanos funcionantes para cubrir las demandas de cirugías de la población de Imbabura y lugares aledaños y así disminuir la lista de espera quirúrgica. El plan de gestión gerencial de repotenciación del centro quirúrgico, abre un comienzo a la planificación y ejecución de planes de gestión gerencial de repotenciación de las diferentes áreas del HGSVP y genera de manera planificada el desarrollo progresivo de estrategias a seguir para poder ejecutar este plan de gestión gerencial de repotenciación. |
| Descripción : | The Hospital General San Vicente de Paul; HGSVP, is a second level hospital located in the city of Ibarra, province of Imbabura, it has 5 floors and has the services of Outpatient, Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, Operating room, Gynecology, Surgery, Traumatology, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Neonatology, with a total of 178 beds. On the first floor is the surgical center that has 5 operating rooms, of which 3 operating rooms are currently enabled. During 2021, he performed 6,875 emergency and scheduled surgeries, so the optimal level of operating theaters according to international standards and protocols such as in Spain by the Ministry of Health, in France by La Agence Nationale dAppui à la Performance des établissements de santé et medico sociaux and in the US they are: 1 operating room for every 800 to 900 surgeries a year that require hospitalization.
