| Descripción : | Objective: To evaluate the attitude and knowledge of Oral Rehabilitation postgraduate students about the use of absolute isolation. Materials and methods: 85 surveys were done by the Oral Rehabilitation Postgraduate students of the Universidad de las Américas and Universidad Central del Ecuador. These questionnaires were made online, anonymously, consisted of 24 questions, and were distributed to the Oral Rehabilitation postgraduate students via e-mail. The first part focused on the frequency of use of this technique and its knowledge, another part focused on the advantages it presents, while another part focused on the treatments and the teeth in which they preferred to use. The information from 85 questionnaires with closed questions was processed, automatically coding the answers to each of the questions posed in Microsoft Excel 2016, after reviewing and debugging the data, the database achieved was exported to the SPSS 23 program to operationalize the data processing and statistical analysis. Results: The attitude of the Postgraduate Oral Rehabilitation students was positive since the vast majority indicated that they use the rubber dam for dental Operative and Oral Rehabilitation treatments. |
