Descripción : The present business plan aims to determine the feasibility of establishing a manufacturing and selling company of handbags made with pineapple leather. This innovative textile is created from the fibers of the pineapple leaves, which will be imported from Spain. Based on current consumer trends, an opportunity has been identified to introduce products made of eco-friendly materials and with exclusive and innovative designs to the local market. Harmony Eco-Bags seeks to offer functionality, elegance and exclusivity. The objective of the brand is to be an eco-friendly alternative aligned with the latest fashion trends, promoting responsible consumption. Through the analysis of external factors, opportunities that will help the business plan have been found. These include taking advantage of the trade agreements to which Ecuador is subscribed to import raw materials exempt from tariffs. It will help to improve the quality of the product. The growing consumer interest in eco-friendly products. Also, the limited offer of this kind of products in the local market. For this reason, a market research was conducted to find out information about the level of interest in handbags made of pineapple leaves and the features needed by customers. The target market was also determined to be women between 20 and 49 years old, who reside in Quito and use handbags daily to complement their style. As part of the marketing plan a value proposition was developed. The product and branding were designed to convey the brand philosophy. Sales and distribution channels were defined. The price was determined according to the market and the range obtained in the quantitative research. Finally, promotion and advertising strategies were planned. Among the key processes for the business are the import of fabric made from pineapple leaves with a high degree of innovation and the artisanal production of bags. Finally, the financial evaluation made it possible to determine that the business plan is viable and profitable.
