From 2013 to 2019, indigenous movements in Ecuador resorted to different protest and mobilization strategies that escalated from the peaceful occupation of public space to disruption and violence, as forms of social resistance. How did public decisions and the indifference of governments influence the demands of indigenous movements to activate mobilizations during this period? The forms of social resistance in a mobilization are organized under different types of collective action: violent action, conventional collective action and disruptive action. This mobilizing organization uses certain resources to achieve its effectiveness. As will be seen in this work, following the theory of resource mobilization and rational choice, actors use their rational capacity to calculate costs and benefits when they use certain repertoires of protest, which may be of a moral, socio-organizational nature, cultural or others, with the aim of offering a contribution to the movement. On the other hand, the four repertoires of mobilization identified in this investigation and during this period of analysis, showed different types of marches and mixed protests of a peaceful or violent nature in different spaces led by the CONAIE indigenous movement as the main actor. Key words: Social mobilization, collective action, repertoires, CONAIE indigenous movement.en
