| Descripción : | The present work of audiovisual production called Angels of Earth was based on the creation of a social documentary responsible for sensitizing Quito is society about the problem of mistreatment and abandonment of stray dogs. For this, we have done a participatory and qualitative research that allowed investigating the causes of the abuse and its main forms together with the study of the public policies of protection. In this way, it was possible to confirm the needs of nonprofit organizations (foster homes and society is) allowing us to understand the contribution of the social documentary, capturing the reality faced daily by animals in streets and in rescue centers inside the city of Quito. |
