| Resumen : | De acuerdo a los estudios relacionados con el modelo de adaptación planteado por Callista Roy el cuidado de las enfermeras y enfermeros hacia los pacientes, es la esencia de la profesión de Enfermería, sin embargo, según estudios realizados por la Organización Panamericana de la Salud aproximadamente el 10 por ciento de los pacientes padecen un evento adverso, siendo los más frecuentes las úlceras por presión que aumentan la estancia hospitalaria en 16,1 día de media y las infecciones nosocomiales, relievando el hecho de que la mayoría de los eventos adversos son evitables... |
| Descripción : | In Agreement of studies relationship with the adaptation model planted by Callista Roy the care of nurses towards patients, is the essence of the Nurse Profession, but nevertheless, applied studies by the American Health Organization, 10 percent of patients suffer an advers event, being the most common Ulcers for pression that increase the hospitalary stance in 16,1 days.taking into account most of adevres events will be prevent. This investigation pretends define the level of aplied Callista Roy the care of nurses towards patients aplied to paraplegics patiens. With The puprpose to plant procces to value patients through this model. And elaborationof careles plan and algorithm for nurse atention hospitalized. It is a qualitative-quantitative design with a research-action approach, through an observational profile through individual inquiry through an interview with the nursing staff of the Traumatology and Internal Medicine Service of the Specialties Hospital Eugenio Mirror of the city of Quito, for which emphasis has been placed on a proposal for change in the care process through the care plan and the algorithm that will be applied based on an action plan. This process will improve the quality of nursing care related to an algorithm that represents the application of diagnoses, so that it will be possible to implement improvements in the quality of care by nurses who work with this type of patients, since the hospital treatment of the paraplegic patient is based on multidisciplinary work and Nursing work in this framework is key to contributing to the guarantee of patient safety, contributing to its application and taking as a basis the Adaptation model in which the recognition of fundamental internal and external stimuli when identifying them in paraplegic patients, this is the reason why the proposal of the action plan for the improvement of the quality of the care will contribute the care for both the nursing staff that forms part of these hospital areas as for patients suffering from this pathology.It was expected to elaborate the plan of action of the nursing care plan and the algorithm for the care of paraplegic patients. This application allows to implement improvements in the quality of the nurses that work with these patients, because the hospital treatment of paraplegic patients is based on the discipline and the hard work of the nurse in that framework that is key to contribute to the warranty safety of the patient. This is the reason why the proposal of an action plan to improve the quality of nursing results in a Transcendental contribution for nurses that make up the areas of this hospital and patients suffering from this pathology. |
