| Descripción : | Continuous improvement is the basis of all organizations that seek to increase their level of competitiveness, which is why the organization through its managers must promote growth and innovation in management and operational processes, which allow continuous improvement to be an advantage over the target market in which the organization competes. Within the present work of certification, has like objective propose an improvement in the process of opening of accounts by means of the application of the tool value stream mapping. The banking institution, in which the study of this work was carried out, is cataloged within the largest financial institutions in Ecuador, with its headquarters located in the city of Quito. By increasing the competitiveness of the financial market, the organization has placed more than 700 ATMs and around 200 banking agencies located in the city of Quito. Its star product or of greater affluence of clients, is the opening of accounts since it represents the first filter for the entrance of the flow of cash to the coffers of the financial institution, this reason was evaluated and determined that it has been chosen for the study of the work. The degree work seeks to meet the objectives that were raised, through the execution of several important activities such as: completion of the process, layout, characterization of the process and preparation of the process map of the banking institution. For the analysis, the following was carried out: work study, time taking, calculation of the cycle time, current value mapping and simulation of the current process. Additionally, the causes were analyzed through: 7 Lean Bank waste, Pareto 80-20 and Ishikawa diagrams. Through the application of each of the aforementioned activities, an improvement is expected in the process of opening accounts and a reduction in operating time. |
