Descripción : This business plan has been developed in order to determine the feasibility and feasibility of creating a business dedicated to the elaboration and commercialization of premium shrimp, peeled, deveined and vacuum packed from shrimp farms to homes in the city of Quito. This is the main issue of the production of food products in the Manabí area. The shrimp sector is an important source of generation of resources and employment, in 2017 it was the first non-oil export product of the country in the same way in the first semester of 2018 with a participation of 25.18% (Proecuador, 2018). In this context, it’s essential to create projects to strengthen this sector. Therefore, this work focuses on the commercialization of premium shrimp in the city of Quito. The main competitive advantage is that the product enjoys an export quality due to the size of the shrimp, texture, flavor, smell and color. It is important to indicate that shrimp production with export quality is currently almost entirely destined to the international market. An environmental analysis was carried out through the PEST methodology and the five forces of Porter. In the market research carried out, it was evident that the consumer is interested in acquiring the product. It was also possible to quantify the target and understand the purchase process of the consumer. For this project, a direct marketing channel is considered because the company will take care of the delivery to the final consumer. With the marketing proposal it was possible to identify the target and the structure and organizational philosophy were outlined. In the financial part, the project generates profits from the first year and the payback period is in the fourth year. Moreover, it generates positive NPV and the IRR of the project is 34.36%, so we concluded that the project is financially, operational and commercially viable.
