| Descripción : | The textile industry is an economy sector that generates a lot of direct work in Ecuador. Textile and apparel are complex business not only from the perspective of the commercial aspect and competition, but also from the textile and garment manufacturing which is composed by many processes, some artisanal because that way you get better results. Most processes are highly technified, and the machinery used is accompanied by specific software applications; this generates several infrastructure requirements and a lot of scattered information covering the entire production process. Textiles El Greco, is a well positioned Ecuadorian company with more than 30 years in the market. Is currently the supplier of all the major retailers in the country. As the company has grown, machinery and new technologies have been incorporated to technify their processes and to increase their production capacity. Many of these needs are specific requirements of certain areas and have caused difficulties in the technological management, information redundancy, and decision making based on relevant business data. The Enterprise Architecture implementation for Textiles El Greco looks forward leverage the business in technology so that its main processes can be executed efficiently and reliably. This project is based on the TOGAF framework. The four aspects covered are: business, data, applications and technology, and based on this analysis, the work seeks to develop a portfolio of projects to solve the problems that the organization has. |
