| Descripción : | The main objective of this project is to carry out a feasibility analysis of the proposed implementation of virtual desktops in the computer labs of the University of the Americas. In the process, the current infrastructure of the laboratories of the University of the Americas will be evaluated, calculating the total of computer equipment and evaluating the hardware characteristics (CPU, memory and storage) of the computers. In addition, the performance of applications installed on computers will be analyzed. Based on the previous sizing, the best option will be evaluated according to desktop virtualization technologies in the market, highlighting compatibility, cost and performance characteristics. In the end, the option that best suits the proposed requirements will be determined, which will generate cost savings and long-term benefits. |
