Descripción : | In order to create musical material it is necessary to start from the composition which allows us to capture the ideas and moments that a musician has. Therefore, the composer is the one who creates, invents and writes. Within the work of musical production there are several stages; consideration must be given to important aspects from the emotional objective and the instruments they will contribute in order to highlight certain nuances within the project, each instrument fostering the essence of the theme. In this project describe how to create a theme without musical knowledge, applying the ABLETON LIVE 9 platform, which allows us to use its internal tools which were to generate automatic chords, sequences and musical arrangements within the project. The use of physical and virtual instruments is incorporated to obtain the sonority of the theme. For this production, Katherine Gavela was invited to participate as an artist, composer and performer, from Ecuador, a student at the University of the Americas, with her voice she contributes and enriches the essence of the project, which promotes the emotional objective of the topic. Katherine Gavela is asked to compose the lyrics of the song, to deepen the lyrics. Within the post-production process it is described how to start editing and mixing, it talks about aspects of equalization, compression, reverberation and delay, each one acts within the mixing process looking for colorations and giving a twist to the theme. A description of the creative process of the disc image is made, explaining how the image composition was achieved based on an idea of both the producer and the artist, taking into account the ideas of the graphic designer and restructuring each of the ideas presented. The use of linear and geometric patterns is done to give a minimalist look. It incorporates typographical fonts for the preparation of the cover and merging image with the essence of the theme. A description of the evolution and history of electronic music is made, making an investigation of the first ways to create electronic music, starting and the present. With the passage of time they have evolved and changed their shape giving a great range of creating new sounds giving a rich sound being used by many bands in the 70s and 80s. |
