Descripción : | The present business plan raises the export of frozen malanga chips to Miami - Florida. The business concept flourishes based on the demand that exists in the international market for the consumption of tubers. The main idea of the business is to provide a different product, focused on a segment of the Latino population in Miami, of men and women between 25 and 60 years of age, mainly people from: Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Venezuela. A market analysis was carried out to acquire relevant data of the preferences and tastes of the customers in order to improve and promote strategies to attract the target market. The differentiation will be the general marketing strategy, Malanga Tropic seeks to create a competitive advantage that helps implement characteristics that other tubers exporting companies do not have. To begin with the development of the project, the investment is USD 36,412 dollars and is backed with 40 percent equity and 60 percent debt, with an active interest rate of 11.83 percent according to the figures exposed by the Central Bank. Conducting a financial study, the viability of the business plan was diagnosed, which has an attractively high investment, since it has a NPV of $ 20,958 and a TIR of 20, 85 percent. |
