Descripción : The sewage system since its inception was intended to confine and give the correct handling prosecuted and black waters, sewage and rainwater giving their community who formed an improvement of life in a clean and orderly. This project reflects the interest in providing a better service to capture both rainwater and sewage, which is one of the most significant problems within our sewer system in recent years, thus helping to eliminate any source of infection submit the network downloads, among other objectives of the implementation of separators flow and functionality, is to capture as much of water are these rainwater and waste keeping them within a system by preventing them from collapsing, that is stored temporarily in separator to subsequently evacuate less flow velocity preventing damage and collapse thereof within the piping network. In the same way the function of separator flow in the sewer network helps the network has less wear on your pipes since by reducing the flow rate and settling external agents such as earth and stones prevent excessive deterioration of the network. In its primary role separators flows are designed so that in a system of combined network flow between the sewer and excess or excessive rainfall resulting this flow is taken to the nearby interceptors to rivers and streams, decontaminating efficiently themselves, taken into account by the “EPMAPS – Q” who takes the project “DECONTAMINATION PLAN RIVERS OF QUITO” In a brief analysis of a sewerage network and implemented a shunt or flow separator is much more efficient in several areas located in the approach to environmental decontamination, driving improvement and efficiency in the flow, energy sink. In its structure each separator flow is designed to contain solid agents are those floating and sedimentales which may obstruct the correct flow rate, however, you must have the proper maintenance, this requires that any preventive measure is applied as it is the case of placement grids sinks and educate users not to throw waste which may affect this. In the construction process of the separating flow is essential to identify the critical point of the various tributaries flow into the sewer system to be functional, is that this point will serve as a reference for downstream to identify the corresponding interceptor separator this identification will allow maintenance personnel access promptly in case of any obstruction in the network or flow diverter. In its construction, the separator flow must have the aspects of impermeability on their boards cast by “together PVC” which will prevent water leaks to the outside, in the same way smelting plant or hearth is effected in monolithic (single casting), in its final finish should be smooth in order to easy water drainage.
