Descripción : | The objective of this thesis work is to design an irrigation system for the Galapagos Islands powered by solar energy and monitored by a WEB interface. To fulfill this objective, the following steps were carried out: Firstly, research was performed on most of the factors that could influence the quality of irrigation by type of crop in the Galapagos Islands. Then, the average horizontal irradiation in the Galapagos Islands was analyzed. The San Cristobal Island was taken as reference for the installation of the prototype. The study of the set of sensors that were used in the design of the prototype and their interconnection was carried out, in order to guarantee a correct operation of the irrigation system. The electronic prototype of the power supply and signal conditioning was designed, the same as the WEB interface was designed for the control and monitoring of the irrigation system. Finally, the field test of the prototype was studied, and obtaining satisfactory results. |
