| Descripción : | The present dissertation consists of the change of use of the building of the CTE to turn it into a gallery - museum and school for girls and boys with sensorial disability, whose ages range from 7 to 11 years old and located in the city of Quito. The architectural project presented below is based on the imperial need of the city for spaces for the contemplation and learning of art; thus aiming to reach a more inclusive society. The architectural proposal contemplates several stages that go from the exterior redesign to a functional parking lot, a gallery, outdoor cafeteria, and ramps that help the mobility of people with motor disabilities. Inside the building the spaces will be redesigned so that they adapt to the needs of the user, providing the passage of overhead light and at the same time being a focal point that breaks with the symmetry of the place. |
