Descripción : The textile industry in Ecuador has been increasing over the last years due to an implementation of new technology that has created the opportunity to offer innovated textile home products, made of different fibers with an ecological production process. The Industrial Textile Association of Ecuador has been working with companies dedicated to the manufactured of textile products, in order to develop new brands that can help them to reach different markets and to expand their variety of products to satisfy the necessities of consumers Industria Piolera Ponte Selva S.A. is one of the most representative companies in the textile market. Because of their production line, it has become more competitive, not only for the equipment but also for having the production circle completed. However, this company has not developed a brand exclusively for the Home Line. The use of the brand Ponte Selva, is applied to all the products, from ropes to fabric, which is why, it is harder to identify this Home Line from the rest. And the costumers has not realized the importance that this products have in the production circle of the company. As an ongoing project, the idea is to create a system of branding, packaging and visual merchandising, aiming to separate the home line from the rest, so this new brand can gain strength in the textile market. By the application of several strategies of graphic and industrial design, the aspiration is to create a brand that can be identify easily from the rest.
