Descripción : According to the latest survey of living conditions conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos in 2014, the population of Quito has increased the practice of sports. In order to meet the needs of athletes at the time of injury, pharmaceutical companies offer lots of analgesics and anti-inflammatory to the Ecuadorian market. The central government has proposed transforming the productive matrix with a view to develop products with added value Ecuadorians. As discussed, HM Representaciones provides to Quito market, Physicool. It is a sports bandage that improves recovery times from injuries in athletes and has a presence in twenty four countries worldwide. To ensure Physicool positioning, marketing strategy must be focused on effectively communicating of the differentiating value of the product. The company will carries brand activation campaigns and advertising in social networks, website and specialize magazines; furthermore, it will perform strategic alliances with sport center where it can demonstrate the easily operation and effectiveness of the product. To support the positioning of Physicool, this will be commercialized by the major retail chains of drugs in Quito as Pharmacys and Fybeca; besides, customer service pre and post sales will be made through the website of Physicool in Ecuador. After conducting market research, 76.5% of the target market would be interested to know and test the product. To start the business, is required a period of 173 days and an initial investment of 85,196.01 dollars. In the financial evaluation of the project an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 22.28% was obtained and the expected time of return on investment of four years. By analyzing these factors, it has been determined the viability and profitability of the project in the selected market.
