Descripción : Objectives: This research has the general objective to observe the clinical and radiographic signs of dentinogenesis Imperfecta, in patients suffering from Osteogenesis of the Ecuadorian Foundation Osteogenesis in children 2 to 9 years from this specific objective as raised were identified the population with dentinogenesis Imperfecta differentiate the type of dentinogenesis Imperfecta presenting determine appropriate preventive treatment that can be applied to prevent oral diseases. Method: To conduct the study in the first instance a form of data collection designed for this research was developed, later attended the event that the Ecuadorian Foundation Osteogenesis was performed, the sample consisted of 30 children between 2 and 9 years attending to where they are going to perform, following acceptance of the representative proceeded to examine the children, recording the data in the form diagnosis. Results: A study with a population of 30 children with Osteogenesis Imperfecta of both sexes. 43 percent of the sample obtained from the children of the Foundation suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type I, of these 31 percent is type III, only 26percent of patients are in type IV and finally with a minority is type II with 0 percent because it is not very common to have this type or die at birth. In these patients, we observed that 100 percent is dentinogenesis imperfecta Type I since it is associated with osteogenesis imperfecta, as to the clinical and radiographic features, we have more prevalence in color (translucent blue) in 80 percent patients and occurs less feature the presence of dental wear by 47 percent, we can also note that 47 percent obliteration of pulp chamber and the crown-shaped bell is observed, we also see a 37 percent presence of short roots. Conclusions: Early diagnosis of these dental anomalies, so delicate that it rehabilitates these patients, is accompanied by bone fragility syndrome.
