dc.descriptionIn order to avoid a sedentary lifestyle on the employees of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (Quito). The investigation was executed to determine the level of information about this subject and what is the most effective way to reach the target audience. The results showed that the best option to address this problem is through a corporate communication campaign to report the adverse effects that lead this lifestyle. Thus, this project presents an internal corporate campaign that aims to fill the information gaps that the MIDUVI’s workers have about the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle and the benefits of a proactive life based on sport and proper nutrition. The project was based on a mix research, with both quantitative and qualitative investigation. Research tools such as surveys, focus groups and interviews with experts concerning to the study variables to determine strategies and communication actions, as well as, characteristics of the campaign focused on the employees interests. Internal communication tools of traditional and technological were determinated on the project to define the most used communication channels and products by which workers would like to receive information. The campaign seeks to inform and improve the quality of the MIDUVI’s workers life. The implementation of this campaign is recommended to all types of public institutions that seek to develop the productivity of their workers.en
