Descripción : This business plan consists in the creation of a supermarket, focused on the commercialization of organic, whole wheat and sustainable grown products, thus providing a service of nutritional assessment according to its clients´ needs. The business opportunity for this project relies on the constant growing tendency of consumers preferring this type of products, which are considered not only healthier, but may also reduce the negative impact of pesticides and chemicals on the environment. As of today, the ratio of people preferring natural and healthy products to traditionally grown has improved. I have determined the marketed segment based on specific characteristics from a consumer profile, consisting on potential clients specified on sections A and B of the socioeconomic stratum from the north-central area of Quito. Other different characteristics are the level of education and consumption habits. It is imperative for this business a proper training, screening and selection of labor force. The level of knowledge a worker must acquire on nutritional, facts, processes and benefits of the organic habits of consumption is almost as important as the excellence in service they must offer to potential and eventual clients. Total work force conceives a total of eight people, structured of one administrative, one operations manager, two sales personnel, two cashiers, and finally two cleaners. The chapter for financial planning evaluates how profitable the project is, and its financial performance according to its financial valuation. For the startup process it is required to acquire a bank loan for the 40% of the total investment, leaving 60% of the total investment to be financed by two investors. The loan will be applied through the Corporacion Financiera Nacional for 17.162 dollars at an interest rate of 8.03%, in a five year payback period. The projected R.O.I. and financial analysis is based on a consistent 6% yearly growth over the following 5 years.
