Descripción : This paper aims to show the preliminary results of an investigation that was conducted in six patients with psychosomatic dermatological disease (psoriasis) in the Ecuadorian Foundation for Psoriasis (FEPSO) in Quito, from the perspective of psychoanalysis with Freudian and Lacanian orientation. The use of the word psychosomatic is widespread in the field of psychopathology and clinical psychology and carries a heavy load semantics. The focus of this research was to review the theoretical, the various meanings that have been giving the term psychosomatic, and contrast observed in patients from three different positions in which the soma-Pisque relationship is present: hypochondria, conversion hysteria and psychosomatic phenomenon. As part of this research we focus on differentiating the various entities described above after which the cases presented alterations showed a type of body alteration. The Psychosomatic part of its beginning with Hippocrates and Galen, reaching with Psychosomatic Medicine posture with medical foundations that give validity in the clinical field, up to the Psychosomatic oriented psychotherapy (Freudian and Lacanian), which involves an analysis of the interpretation of the language as a psychosomatic expression of mental distress and symptom distinction conversive (which speaks the body) and the psychosomatic phenomenon (which shuts the body) Thus we have determined that each patient understands psychosomatic, lives and speaks of his illness in a particular way, and in this particular way and listen to the professional "psi" can conceive of the disease and its cure.
