Resumen : | El ciberbullying es una dificultad grave que sobresalta a millones de adolescentes en todo el universo y puede tener un impacto significativo en la vida de las víctimas, incluyendo problemas emocionales, sociales y académicos. El presente estudio planteó como objetivo Analizar la influencia del ciberbullying en el crecimiento de habilidades socioemocionales en los estudiantes del cuarto año de secundaria de la Unidad Educativa particular Fernando Ortiz Crespo, durante el periodo marzo septiembre 2024. La metodología fue de enfoque cualitativo, de alcance descriptivo y diseño fenomenológico. Como instrumentos se emplearon encuestas y entrevistas. Los hallazgos sugieren que alrededor del 10 por ciento de los estudiantes sí ha sido víctima de ciberbullying, siendo uno de los aspectos más comunes de los comentarios ofensivos, la transmisión de rumores, la exclusión social. Impacta negativamente en la autoestima y la autoconfianza generando sentimientos de soledad, tristeza, ira, miedo y depresión, lo que puede derivar en problemas académicos. El ciberbullying y otras conductas negativas pueden afectar significativamente las interacciones sociales lo que se traduce como sentimientos de soledad, aislamiento y deterioro en las relaciones existentes, dificultando incluso la formación de nuevas amistades. |
Descripción : | Cyberbullying is a serious problem that affects millions of teens around the world and can have a significant impact on victims´ lives, including emotional, social, and academic problems. The objective of this study was to analyze the influence of cyberbullying on the development of socio emotional skills in students in the fourth year of secondary school of the Fernando Ortiz Crespo Private Educational Unit, during the period March September 2024. The methodology was qualitative, descriptive and phenomenological in design. Surveys and interviews were used as instruments. The findings suggest that around 10 percent of students have been victims of cyberbullying, with the most common forms of offensive comments, spreading rumours, and social exclusion being the most common. It negatively impacts self esteem and self confidence, generating feelings of loneliness, sadness, anger, fear, and depression, which can lead to academic problems. Cyberbullying and other negative behaviors can significantly affect social interactions, resulting in feelings of loneliness, isolation, and deterioration in existing relationships, making it difficult to form new friendships. |
