dc.descriptionThe purpose of the present investigation was the evaluation of the lyophilized miraculous fruit as an active ingredient for the preparation of tablets by direct compression, for the evaluation of the effect generated after its consumption in potential consumers. Four formulations of tablets with miraculous fruit were elaborated, to be evaluated the physical-chemical characteristics of friability, hardness, disintegration and organoleptic quality. The treatment or formulation number 1 obtained the best performance in quality, due to the quantities of excipients that were used obtaining 0.94 percent in friability, 6.9 kg m.s2 in hardness and a disintegration time of 8.39 minutes. After performing the sensory evaluation of the tablet 100 percent of the panelists could notice the effect produced by their consumption and in total they showed interest in acquiring this product in the event of being commercialized.en
