Descripción : In Ecuador, the food and beverage industry is one of the most important, as well as the most competitive, due to the diversity of economic activities it contains. Reason why organizations participating in this market have a high degree of rivalry, influenced by the high bargaining power of customers, who can influence the price of a particular good or product, as well as because of the large amount of substitutes that exist in the market. In the same way, in the country, child malnutrition is a health problem that affects a significant number of Ecuadorian children, being those belonging to the poor class, who most have nutritional deficiencies, as a result of inadequate feeding, generating children do not develop normally and causing more serious diseases in the future. Therefore, complementary foods become one of the means that parents have to offer their children the nutrients, vitamins and minerals necessary for their healthy growth. Although these products in Ecuador have a high cost that goes from $ 17 onwards. That is why, Nutri-Kids seeks to offer the market a nutritious beverage made from whey, mixed with natural fruits, sweetened with Stevia and packaged in a biodegradable packaging made from avocado peel, at a price of $ 4.00. Being the objective of the company to contribute to the reduction of child malnutrition. When carrying out the financial evaluation of this project, the viability and profitability of the project are shown, with a NPV of $ 37,012.06 and an IRR of 39.91% for investors.
