Resumen : La empresa Crustáceo Rojo se constituye en la ciudad de Quito como una sociedad de responsabilidad limitada, con un aporte equitativo de sus dos socios…
Descripción : The Crustaceo Rojo Company is established in Quito as a limited liability company with an equal contribution from the two partners. Its purpose is to grow and sell crayfish in the city of Quito. The idea was born in order to take advantage of an unmet demand due to a six month national closure period for the native species of the region which are (Panulirusgracilis and Panuliruspenicillatus). The specie to be sold is not subject to these restrictions. The product is basically aimed to the A-B-C classes of Quito who could purchase it through the major restaurant chains, as well as in hotel restaurants that use this product as an ingredient in their recipes. The Crustaceo Rojo considers as its key success factors of the business plan are; Firstly, be the first company to offer this product at the market segments established in the city of Quito. Secondly, to offer a product with freshness guaranteed. Finally, to achieve economies of scale that allow us to bring down the costs and at the same time, have competitive sale prices. This business plan has been divided in eleven chapters. In the second chapter an environment study where the company will develop its activities had been done. In the third chapter a market analysis was developed with results that predict success for the project. Finally, in the ninth chapter was demonstrated that the project is sustainable, because the investor’s return is positive.
