| Descripción : | This work will be divided into several parts to reach conclusions. It will start addressing the issue of the childrens reading (both in the Ecuador and the rest of Latin America) to investigate how an illustrated book can encourage reading. There will also be a review of the history of the illustration and illustrated books. In addition, it will analyze if these books can serve as a tool for motivation of reading in children aged eight to 12 years of age. In addition, we will study ways to celebrate the traditions and most curious festivals in different countries to compare with the Ecuador. This will be the content of this book project. In addition, we will analyze what so attractive is the theme for the celebration of holidays for children and if the theme can encourage, through illustrations to your reading. Finally, the phases of the process of elaboration of this book illustrated in particular will be presented and indicate the results achieved in the focal group with children 8 to 9 years of age of the military school Eloy Alfaro. |
