| dc.description | This work aims to show the life and development of people with disabilities in the Social Rehabilitation Centers (SRC). For this, interviews were conducted with leaders of the different organizations involved and witnesses who tell their experience within the rehabilitation centers. Issues such as state guarantees in this area and the international convention on disability were addressed. In addition, they sought testimonies from people who can testify on the subject and contribute with evidence of it. This research concluded that despite state guarantees, social rehabilitation centers are not able to meet the needs required for the care and integral development of people with disabilities. This has faced them with a double vulnerability within these centers. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo tiene el objetivo de mostrar la vida y desarrollo de las personas con discapacidad en los Centros de Rehabilitación Social. Para esto, se hicieron entrevistas a dirigentes de las distintas organizaciones involucradas y testigos que cuenten su experiencia dentro de los centros de rehabilitación. Se abordaron temas como las garantías estatales con respecto a este tema y la convención internacional de las personas con discapacidad. Además, se buscaron testimonios de personas que puedan testificar sobre el tema y aportar con evidencias del mismo. Esta investigación concluyó en que a pesar de las garantías estatales, los centros de rehabilitación social no se encuentran capacitados para cumplir con las exigencias requeridas para el cuidado y desarrollo integral de las personas con discapacidad.
