| dc.description | The physiological process of tooth eruption is one in which the tooth moves from an initial position in the jaws to its final position in the mouth. (Jain, P. et al., 2015). Currently, several studies agree that there are factors such as gender, race, inheritance, socioeconomic level, intrauterine and post-natal development, habits, among others; They may be able to influence the sequence and time of tooth eruption. (Sabbagh-Haddad, A. et at 2016). On the other hand, down syndrome is a genetic disorder that is caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome pair 21. (Artigas, L.2010). This syndrome is characterized by the presence of a variable degree of mental retardation and peculiar physical features that give it a recognizable appearance. (Artigas, L.2010) According to Pérez, D. (2014). Objective: observe the chronology of dental eruption in children aged 6- 14 years with Down Syndrome Foundation Triangle of the city of Quito, using panoramic radiographs , Conclusion: It was observed that there is a delay in the chronology of the eruption in children with Down Syndrome of the Triangle Foundation of the city of Quito present a significant delay comparing it with the Nolla stages of a healthy child by observing panoramic radiographs It was identified that the piece 14,15 and 44 presented a higher degree of eruption delay compared to the rest of the pieces | en |
