| dc.description | Valle De Los Chillos represents a centrality of great importance within the Metropolitan District of Quito, because of its particular geographic and natural characteristics, highlighting its system of gorges and cultural Identity. However, these same systems are threatened due to the lack of care and protection of the environmental system. The Workshop ARO 960 elaborates a Territorial Planning Plan that allows understanding the complexity of the territory in terms of its physical space, dynamics, the problems It has and its potentialities. Within the vision of the future, an efficient ecological system is projected that could link both the residential with the patrimonial zones by proposing a Botanical Garden within the Santa Clara Park. Promoting the conservation, education and the research of the native species of the area, enhancing its cultural vocation. The present titling work focuses more on a landscape project whose capacities include the bonding of these two zones. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | El Valle de Los Chillos representa hoy en día una centralidad de gran importancia dentro del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, teniendo características geográficas y naturales particulares, destacándose su sistema de quebradas y su identidad cultural. Sin embargo, estos mismos sistemas se encuentran amenazados debido a la falta de cuidado y protección al sistema ambiental El Taller ARO 960 elabora un Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial que permite comprender la complejidad del territorio en cuanto a su espacio físico, sus dinámicas, los problemas que tiene y sus potencialidades. Dentro de la visión a futuro se plantea un sistema ecológico eficiente que una al territorio para lo cual se propone un Jardín Botánico dentro del Parque Santa Clara que impulse la conservación, educación e investigación de las especies nativas de la zona y potencie su vocación cultural. El presente trabajo de titulación se enfoca más en un proyecto paisajístico cuyas capacidades incluyen la vinculación de dos zonas. | es_ES |
