| dc.description | The Design and implementation of a Solid Waste Management System guarantees without doubt an adequate management of the waste generated in any organization. It assumes the existence of a set of actions, activities, procedures of general and obligatory compliance by means of which an effective treatment of the solid wastes generated in unrestricted respect for the environment and the health of the people is achieved. An efficient design implies the realization of all processes with the full guarantee that neither the process nor the result will be harmed to the nature and the social environment in which the activity of the institution takes place. This will be the central objective of the present investigation. Different techniques were used to compile the information: document review, surveys, interviews, cause-effect diagram, Pare to diagram, among others. The Solid Waste Management System for the Hydrocarbons Secretariat of Ecuador was designed to control the generation, separation, handling, treatment and final disposal of waste, which allows the creation of a recycling and utilization culture, allowing the use Of them to obtain environmental benefits in people's quality of life and economic in terms of generating a new income for the organization, so it is recommended to carry out the process of implementation of the Solid Waste Management System as proposed in The design, being a commitment by the top management of the Secretariat of Hydrocarbons of Ecuador to guarantee all the financial, material and human resources for the implementation of the same. | en |
