It was implemented at the Universidad De Las Americas, a process of bio filtration pilot scale in a biological filter (aerobic-anaerobic) for the treatment of wastewater from a dairy industry of the parish of San Miguel de Nono, Quito, and Pichincha, Ecuador. The biological filter was composed of three phases of biological treatment with a combination of immobilized on solid supports of synthetic or plant origin by a passive method of immobilizing microorganisms by contact . Bio filtration process was defined by a completely randomized factorial design for three factors at two levels (DFCA, at laboratory scale. Resulting as best treatment at laboratory scale combining air, macronutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus), and temperature (30 degrees Celsius). This result is taken as constant for the bioremediation process wastewater at pilot scale, where an independent variable in a randomized factorial design was evaluated two scenarios reflecting each other fat and nonfat. Resulting in the best scenario with fat retention time of 10h in the pilot-scale bio filter. One physical-chemical treatment for the best pilot scale depending on pH, turbidity, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, COD, BOD characterization was performed. In the bioremediation of waste water from a dairy in the pilot-scale bio filter a final pH of 7.1 was obtained, a final turbidity was obtained in 38.6 NTU best treatment of an initial sample of 799 NTU. A removal of 95 percent of total nitrogen, total phosphorus 89 percent, 98 percent of COD for a sample with organic load of greater than 10,000 mg l was obtained. And 99 percent removal of BOD to an initial sample of greater than 4000mg-l.en
