Biostimulants are bioactive molecules. They improve physical-chemical properties of the plant, increase yields and quality of crops; also enhance nutrients assimilation by the plant. Most of all biostimulants are biodegradable compounds, have no harmful effects on humans or the environment, for all these reasons they are an alternative for using agrochemical in crops. In this work, there were evaluated the effect of oligosaccharides derived from fungi cell wall (GO) over germination percentage, morphogenesis and relative gene expression of a gene involved in plant cell cycle of Arabidopsis thaliana cultivated in vitro. The seeds are germinated and grown on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media for evaluating the bioproduct in different concentrations were control (MS), MS with GO 1 mg.L-1 and MS with GO 5 mg.L-1. As a result, germination percentage in all treatments was higher than 70 %; however, not statistically significant was obtained between them. With regard to plant morphogenesis, it was observed that 1 mg.L-1 GO treatment stimulated the growth in length of primary roots and increase of plant fresh weight (g) compared to untreated control. Nevertheless, 5 mg.L-1 GO media promoted secondary roots development instead of primary roots. Additionally, relative expression of TONSOKU (TSK) gene, which is involved in cell cycle, showed higher levels of relative expression at 24 hours, and it was deregulated at 72 hours. Although all these results, the expression values of the TSK did not exceed the MS control. In consequence, one can infer that probably another gene is promoting a higher rate of root growth in the presence of GO. As main result, it was performed the validation of GO biological effect on root architecture over in vitro Arabidopsis thaliana plants and gene expression, so in the future these compounds can be proposed as substitutes for agrochemicals.en
