dc.description	This project is about that investigate the importation of steel chains from Houston Texas-United States of America to Quito-Ecuador, the main objective is to analyze the import process to achieve a reduction in import costs with respect to the country goal, getting the requirements on time and optimal purchasing expenditure. It is important to know the correct tariff heading, the INCOTERM, type of transportation, shipping hiring, domestic and international freight, requirements, permits, displacement, transportation and insurance to finally be a successful import. The reason for importing steel chains from Houston -Texas is to be used in overhead lifting lifting cranes, which will be marketed by Multicables of Ecuador S.A. The main importers of steel chains are: United States, China, Panama and Italy according to the Banco Central del Ecuador.	en
