| dc.description | This paper goal is the presentation of composition “Achachay”, composed by Daniel Mancero as a thesis final work to reach a technical degree in Recording and Music Production at the Universidad de las Américas (UDLA). The music is played by Mancero Trio “A Dos”, Manceros personal Project, who at a young age has become a renowned musician and teacher in Ecuador. With a total duration of 5:30 minutes, this “ecuadorian pasillo” was recorded in UDLA in a live session, this means that the musicians were simultaneously recorded while playing, several production options were considered to agree with the band’s expectations and requirements, recording options such as acoustic enclosures, tools, equipment and mixing processes to respect the essence and the original sound concept of the composition…. | en |
