dc.description | The research at hand, part of the problem originated in the mandatory retirement of university teachers, whose subject has allowed us to carefully consider the juridical-legal issues that motivate this requirement, especially when it has attained the age of 70. It has been considered to be the beginning and rights to the equality, bearing in mind that the Ecuadoran State has a constitution of rights and social justice, so that equality plays a central role in the development of our society. Continuing with this line, there has taken as a reference the action and decision of the Court IDH, in cases of protection and defense of the human rights, from the point of view of the beginning of the equality established in the Inter-American Convention of Human rights. Of equal form it is considered to be the equality in the priority groups of attention, in reason of which these are of easy violation. The educational system plays a major role in the overall development of a country, especially college education, so a brief analysis of the legal framework is addressed in particular the aspect of mandatory retirement for those who have seventieth birthday age, considered an unconstitutional act by the discrimination towards this group of university teachers. | en |
