dc.descriptionTheater and cinema have influenced each other over time. Realism is one of the great influences, a crucial movement for both arts that creates the illusion of representing the real world. But later, this movement was challenged by Bertolt Brecht who established the "alienation effect". Consequently, one of the fundamental elements of realism, the fourth wall, it is broken by critical distancing. Then these elements are analyzed in the films of Lars Von Trier and Michael Haneke. The objective of this analysis in to find support for the development of the short, Insania (Guarnizo,2020), which seeks to activate the viewer's reflection against the images of the media during the pandemic.en
dc.description.abstractEl teatro y el cine se han influenciado mutuamente a través del tiempo. Entre una de las grandes influencias se encuentra el realismo, un movimiento crucial para ambas artes que crea la ilusión de representar el mundo real. Pero más tarde, este movimiento es desafiado por Bertolt Brecht quien instaura el distanciamiento crítico. Por consiguiente, se repasará uno de los elementos fundamentales del realismo que es la cuarta pared y la manera en que el distanciamiento crítico la rompe. Con esto, se busca analizar dichos elementos en las películas de Lars Von Trier y Michael Haneke. El objetivo de dicho análisis es encontrar apoyo para el desarrollo del cortometraje Insania (Guarnizo, 2020), que busca activar la reflexión del espectador frente a las imágenes de los medios de comunicación en la pandemia.es_ES
