Worldwide, the poultry meat consumption continues increase, the use of feed additives in animal nutrition are generalized over the world and the use of antibiotics as growth promoters are decreasing. Nationally there are few studies of broiler who use acidifiers, which only two of them deepen their study using histology and microbiology tests. The objective of the present study is the evaluation of the productive performance through the use of zootechnical performance, and the pathogenic load of the gut microbiota by means of bacterial cultures, to compare the effect of the two dosages of the acidifier. The study had a population of 450 broiler cobb, randomly divided into 3 groups, with a population sample of 150 birds. The three groups were divided with a dose of the acidifier in the drinking water: Control Treatment (CT), Treatment 1 (T1) with 1 ml/l, and Treatment 2 (T2) with 2ml/l. The field study had 42 days. For statistical analysis in microbiology samples, Anova test, and Tukey's test were used. In the zootechnical performance such as Weekly Feed Intake, Weekly Body Weight Gain, Food Conversion Ratio, Water Consumption, Weekly Body Weight, the Shapiro Wilk test was used to determine its distribution: 1) in normal distribution Anova test, Tukey's test was used; and, 2) Kruskal Wallis test does not follow the normal distribution. The investigation concludes that statistically the T2 (2 ml/l) reduce the count of colony forming units of E. Coli, in the third dilution (42d), respect the rest of treatments, furthermore Salmonella spp. was not found in the study. The T1 (1 ml/l), is the most efficient in food conversion ratio, profitability, and closest to the criterion 2 l/kg per bird, while the pH of the water was 6, and T2 of 5 it could affect the weight body gain. The alternative hypothesis is accepted: Liquid acidifiers in different doses improve zootechnical parameters and reduce the pathogenic load of the gut microbiota.en
