| dc.description | Insupet S.A., provides a new service of pre-paid medicine focused on the pets of Ecuadorian households through contracts (policies) covering the following items: medical illnesses, accidents and damages to third parties, taking into consideration the needs of the customers who often have to incur unbudgeted expenses for their pet’s care. The reason for the creation of the insurance company is to present to the clients and to the society medical coverage options, accidents and damages to third parties of different types directed towards the pets that often do not manage to receive a complete attention and care. To carry out this objective; prepaid medical services are provided centrally, under the collaboration of commercial advisors, within a period of one week per account, obtaining results in less time than the competition, with prices slightly higher than those of the industry due to the complementary services that are part of the account. Concluding, Insupet S.A., is a competitive and innovative project, aimed at people with pets that raises a business model based on social corporate responsibility, transparency within business processes which is aimed to people with pets. Additionally, the financial results show that the business proposal is profitable in the long term, and that it constitutes a new model of pre-paid medicine services. | en |
