| Descripción : | This research was carried out with the objective of determining what the economic impact was after the application of protocols and medical audit in the Centro Médico Vida. During the analysis of the statistics and the data obtained it was observed that there were significant financial losses to the company, caused by the objections of the IESS. During the internal audit processes, there has been a root of the problem in the institution, it has been identified that the lack of protocols generated financial losses in the institution; After the application of protocols and medical audit, the IESS objections were significantly reduced, reducing financial losses. Therefore, it can establish that the implementation (investment) of a medical auditor, represent an outflow that is economically significant, when analyzing financial losses in the period in which there was no audit department. Finally, it is concluded that the proper use of medical protocols, as well as the audit in health institutions, improve the administration of resources, generating a state of growth and continuous improvement. |
